Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to all containers purchased from Portable Steel Containers and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions.
Warranty Period
- New Containers: We offer a 10-year limited warranty on all new ISO shipping containers, ensuring they remain leakproof and structurally sound.
- Used Containers: For used cargo-worthy ISO shipping containers, we provide a 5-year limited warranty, covering leakproof integrity and structural soundness.
Warranty Conditions
To maintain the validity of this warranty, please ensure the following:
- Proper Placement: Containers must be placed on a level surface, elevated at least 3 inches off the ground, and situated on solid (cement or asphalt) or prepared ground (compacted gravel or prepared timber).
- Maintenance: Regular maintenance should be performed to prevent issues arising from neglect or misuse.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear – Cosmetic damages such as scratches, dents, or rust that do not affect structural integrity.
- Improper Installation – Damages resulting from incorrect placement or failure to follow recommended setup guidelines.
- Unauthorized Modifications – Any alterations or repairs not performed or approved by Portable Steel Containers.
Claim Process
If you encounter a defect covered by this warranty, please contact our customer service team with the following information:
- Proof of purchase
- Detailed description of the defect
- Photographs of the affected area
Our team will assess your claim and, if approved, will repair the defect using new or refurbished replacement parts or replace the unit at no charge.
